D+ MULTIPURPOSE LW 222 is a specially formulated additive composed of cement-compatible surface-active agents, synthetic polymers and additives. It is used as an additive for cement concrete, mortar, plasters and waterproofing. The product makes concrete and plaster dense and cohesive, helps prevent segregation, reduces porosity and increases the strength of concrete.

As a liquid additive, D+ MULTIPURPOSE LW 222 is easily dispersible and compatible with concrete and mortar mixes. It improves cohesiveness, helps prevent bleeding and segregation, adds integral waterproofing to concrete, reduces water permeability and helps reduce shrinkage crack development in plaster and concrete. It also provides concrete plasticizing without a tendency to segregation, improves pumpability, reduces pouring time and provides good workability.

It is intended for waterproofing of concrete and sand-cement mortar used in slabs, beams, columns, screeds, internal and external plasters, basements, water tanks, water-retaining structures, sumps, drains, bathrooms, toilets, repairs and renovation.

Application Method

Cement, sand and aggregates should first be charged into the concrete mixer according to the mix design and mixed dry for 2–3 minutes. Add 75–80% of the pre-measured water and mix for 5 minutes. The recommended quantity of D+ MULTIPURPOSE LW 222 should then be added to the remaining water in a separate container, followed by addition of this LW 222-water mixture to the concrete mixer. Mix for another 3–4 minutes before discharge for application.

The product should not be added directly into a dry concrete mix, and the recommended dosage should not be exceeded.

Consumption / Dosage

The specified dosage is:

200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement.

The datasheet specifically instructs users to follow the recommended dosage and not to use an extra dose.
